I would like to state only decendents of US slaves should be recipients of government reparations. Not children of recent migrants. Its unsettling to imagine groups of people not negatively effected by slavery would benefit more from implementation of reparations in addition to the opportunities and leg-up migrants already receive opposed to native Blacks. Maybe only offer the remainer of America social sensitivity movement and mental health services to help with renewing everyone's mind towards other human beings. as a college dropout (couldnt continue my biotech studies bc of war and mental health) this info has made my day. After going through college and job training in both biology and chemistry, i have to say technicians who dont learn how things work dont know why the results are the way they are. They cant give a doctor a heads up something else is going on here. They are just machines. Technically machines will replace them too.

It’s good that the workforce is not caring about degrees anymore because the majority are worthless. They force you to take dumb classes that have nothing to do with your major at all. If they allowed us to only take the important classes that we actually need then yeah I’ll go back to school but schools want to force you to take dumb classes so that they can get more money out of you. We need to change the education system to make a better work force with real life skills because currently colleges can’t prepare you for the real workforce

Kinda mystified on how i received a degree applied to hundreds of positions 11 years ago after getting a biology degree and no one would hire me b/c i didnt have experience?!? I couldnt even get a entry level job. But now they want high school students? Very happy for them and glad things are changing. However i cant help but feel like this is a slap in the face to those of us that were denied an opportunity at every turn with a degree.
